Chandigarh, December, 2011: Idea Cellular, India’s 3rd largest mobile operator, recently launched a mega offer ‘Shandaar Car Challenge’ for mobile subscribers in Punjab, announced the final round of winners at an event today.

Idea subscribers Mr. Jagdish Singh Kalra drove away in a swanky new Honda City car, after being chosen as the bumper winner of the contest and Mr. Tejveer Singh Kalra from Punjab drove away in an Alto Car. Other Idea subscribers also won Samsung Galaxy tabs, Bank vouchers and much more!

Elated with his win Mr. Jagdish Singh Kalra, winner of the bumper prize said,“I thank Idea Cellular for truly making my New Year special by bestowing me with the Honda City car. The duration of the contest was from 30th May to 28th August,’11 (90 days). To participate in the Contest, on successful subscription Idea users had to call on a toll-free short code 557552 and answer just 5 simple questions everyday. For each correct answer, the subscriber got one point, and subscribers with 5 points in a day were eligible for daily prize of Rs.500 bank voucher. It also gave an opportunity to the subscribers to win Daily vouchers on multiple days.

The contest witnessed participation from more than 93,000 Idea subscribers from Punjab who competed with other Idea subscribers pan India.
