Kota, 24th April, 2011: Best Price Modern Wholesale, the business-to-business and cash-and-carry store of Bharti Walmart Private Limited today launched ‘Clean & Green Kota’ drive at CV Garden near Nayapura.

CV garden is the biggest garden of Kota with an estimated area of over ten lakh sq ft with zoo, water bodies, amphitheatre, jogging track, slides for kids and landscaping in its fold. To sustain the environment, Best Price Modern Wholesale initiated ‘Clean & Green Kota’ Drive and volunteered to clean the CV Garden. The drive started with cleaning and collection of dry leaves throughout the garden. 2.7 Tons (2 trucks) of debris was collected to make the garden clean with support from Municipal Corporation Kota.

Tree Plantation activity was also undertaken at CV garden which was led by Rakesh Sorel –Dy. Mayor Kota & R. D. Meena – UIT Chairman, community leaders of Kota along with 50 employees of Best Price Modern Wholesale and support staff from Municipal Corporation, Kota. 5 Ashoka trees were planted in the garden with a responsibility to bring them up with care till they are self sustainable.

Employees of Best Price Modern Wholesale store will continue to engage in initiatives to serve the community and the people of Kota.
