Mr. Narendra Singh completes first 1000kms and enters the state of Assam

Assam, 5th October, 2011: As the old adage goes, “It takes one person to change the world.” A sheer will to move beyond the paradigms of commonality and strive to excel can take one to places unimaginable both in the real as well as the surreal world. Following strong determination and support from Aamby Valley City, Limca Record Holder, Mr.Narendra Singh, manager at 19 Degree North – an adventure based theme park at Aamby Valley city has successfully completed a 1000 kms in 7days and has reached the green valleys of Assam.

Mr. Singh began an unusual expedition of cycling on 28th September 2011 from the Everest base to Kanyakumari to spread an eco-friendly message. With an aim of creating awareness about carbon prints and global warming; the environmental crusader is reminding each one of us as individual’s to play our role in saving the green cover. On a tryst against destiny this free sailing bird will cycle for 60 days and 60 nights and hopes to complete a whooping 12,000 km approx with which he is most likely to be a Guinness Record holder.

On achieving this milestone in his journey a humble Mr. Singh said, "It is indeed very encouraging to have the expedition meet the planned schedule. My strength to achieve my goal has been enhanced and all of this would not have been possible without God's grace and the support of my benign employers Aamby Valley City." Mr. Singh reminds one of Robert Frost famed verses, "Miles to go before I sleep". Even Narendra Singh has a long way to go; so let us wish this voyager reaches home safely and succeeds in his tryst against the enemies of nature.

Mr. Vivek Kumar, CEO Aamby Valley City said, “We are proud to be associated with this adventurous expedition and we not only remain committed to serving our customers to the best of our abilities but also to support our employees in the most apt ways possible. Besides we remain responsible towards our commitment to nature and thus being associated with this expedition is undeniable. We at Aamby Valley City have always been highly aware of our corporate social responsibility and we remain committed to walk the line for our societal commitments”.
